One of the joys of buying a new car is having a new-car warranty, and Volkswagen Carefree Coverage is one of the best there is. Whether it’s Roadside Assistance, regularly scheduled maintenance, or just peace of mind, you can rest easy knowing that Volkswagen has you covered. 

A Genuine Warranty

Our Carefree Coverage starts with a bumper-to-bumper 4-year, 50,000-mile warranty, or whichever comes first. From there, we take special care of our new car customers by providing the first two years and 20,000 miles worth of regularly scheduled maintenance free of charge. So your oil changes are free for two years, as well as any Volkswagen-recommended service in those two years. 

Roadside Assistance

While we hope that you are never in a situation where you will need it, we still make sure that, as a new car buyer, you get 3 years or 36,000 miles of Roadside Assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Roadside Assistance will provide you with Towing, Collision towing, Flat tire service, Lock-out service, Fuel delivery service, Out-of-charge service (EV), and a battery jump start. If you happen to be on a road trip and suddenly need our assistance, we will cover up to $100 per day for lodging, meals up to $100 per day, and alternate transportation up to $100 per day. 

myVW App

With the convenience of the myVW app, you can do a whole host of things with your Volkswagen. If your car has push button start, then you will be able to start your vehicle with your smartphone. You can also remote lock and unlock your car from pretty much anywhere, set speed and boundary alerts for young drivers, locate your car in a crowded area, find charging stations for our ID brand of electric vehicles, check the status of the battery, charging time, and more. The myVW app can also alert you if you have a check engine light on or if something is wrong with your car.
