New for 2023

The ID.4 is packed with exciting new features for 2023. Volkswagen is introducing a new, lower starting price for their lowest ID.4 trim due to a lower kWh battery as well as moving assembly to the United States. New exterior accents elevate the look with gloss black-highlighted bumpers and adaptive LED headlights at the S-level trim and up. The interior gets a refresh as well, with a standard 12-inch infotainment touchscreen available at all trim levels. S trims now have two leatherette seating options with new color combinations for a stylish interior. All-new technology is available in the form of Park Assist Plus, enhanced Travel Assist, and Intuitive Start.

Electric Capability

The new Standard trim’s 62 kWh offers a 209-mile range, while the higher trims include an 82 kWh battery that provides up to 275 miles on a single charge. Drivers can choose between two powertrains – the standard RWD or more powerful AWD. Optional AWD adds a second asynchronous motor in addition to the permanent magnetic synchronous motor for additional traction and control. Its instant torque is quieter than ever, giving you the power you need with less noise than a traditional SUV. When it’s time to power up, there are several options for charging both at home and on the go. You can add on a Level 2 home charging kit for Energy Star certified, full-charging power overnight. Included is a 3-year DC Fast Charging package for unlimited 30-minute fast charging sessions, or access any of the nation’s 45,000 public charging stations as needed.

With a roomy interior and intentional design, the ID.4 offers comfort and convenience at your fingertips. Access climate control, media, and navigation all from the touchscreen with voice commands. Plus Nav EV and Plus Speech EV are included for three years, and wireless phone charging ensures you’re always connected on the road. IQ.Drive technology combines innovation and safety with driver assist features like Park Distance Control, Adaptive Cruise Control, and other connected app features that allow for remote access.
